Mathematics

Core concepts of Maths and simplified appraoch to solve the complex problem.

Covers core arithmetic, fractions, decimals, percentages, basic algebra, shapes, measurements and word-problem reasoning. Students focus on accuracy, speed, and applying maths to real-life problem-solving.

Builds deeper skills in number, algebra, geometry, statistics and probability. Students learn equations, graphs, ratios, trigonometry and data analysis. GCSE Maths strengthens logical thinking and prepares learners for higher-level maths, science and everyday decision-making.

English 

  • Reading comprehension — understanding passages (both fiction and non-fiction), answering questions about facts, inferences, tone, author intent, and meaning. 

  • Grammar, punctuation & spelling (SPaG) — recognising and correcting errors, using correct sentence structure, punctuation and spelling. 

  • Vocabulary and language use — understanding words in context, synonyms/antonyms, filling in cloze passages. 

  • Basic writing / creative writing (in some papers) — tasks may include writing a short story, description or letter, showing clear structure, appropriate vocabulary, and correct grammar.

Science

Introduces key ideas from biology, chemistry and physics. Students learn about living things, materials, energy, forces and simple experiments. The focus is on building curiosity, basic scientific knowledge, and early enquiry skills.Covers Biology, Chemistry and Physics in more depth. Students study cells, the body, ecosystems, atoms, reactions, energy, electricity, forces and waves. They also complete required practicals and develop strong analytical and problem-solving skills. GCSE Science prepares learners for advanced study and real-world scientific understanding.
